Whilst at a former practice Brenden was the Director responsible for the constrcution of a 2FE newbuild primary school sited on a greenfield site to serve a new phase of the Milton Keynes ‘eastern expansion area’. Natural ventilation and thermal mass design together with PV panels and a biomass boiler installation all contributed to a BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating with the project delivered within the budget and programme.
